Texins Flying Club planes are parked on the six western-most and north-facing tie downs of the north ramp area. Please leave the western-most tie-down for the C210 (N9497M) because it is a little easier to drive the plane at an angle through the tie-down and then push back. The 210 is a bit heavier so this tie-down works best for it.

A few rules to keep in mind:
- Do not run-up the engines in these tie-downs: the prop-wash can throw small rocks and dust and debris onto other planes
- Do not taxi over any chains or any ropes - ever. At best you'll be blowing debris around, but at worst you are going to damage the prop
- Park properly in the tie down spot. The yellow lines should be UNDER the airplane. If the tail tie-down has a yellow line pointing away from the plane, you are "Whopper-chocked" - you are parked in the middle of three tie-downs and you'll cause lots of disruption.

This jus' aint right ... that's "whopper-chocked! |
Much better, keep the yellow line under the plane |
- Park only in TFC assigned tie-downs. If your tail tie-down points to a spot with "ATC" at the front, you are in the wrong spot
- Be super-cautious of the light pole for the second parking spot. The plane fits just fine unless you push it too far back or at an angle.
- Secure the chain AROUND the link not through a link. When you go through a link the chain is very difficult to dislodge.
Thanks for your co-operation and if you have any questions feel free to ask a club officer or instructor.
